Perfect for getting my run through the Louvre plan in place.

I would like to see a version in French (minus one star for being English only).

Its free and has great content so thanks for putting this out. The only distraction is the interface. On the videos you have to select your language for each one - why not have a global preference? The cover flow is cool - but not very efficient for all the content. In general just a lot of clicking to get around.

This app is great! Its great to visit an art gallery anywhere in the world!

A large portion of the artwork ready for offline viewing, plus information for when youre ready to tour the place itself. About the only thing this app could use is the ability to continue where you let off in the Artworks part for those of us who take our time (weeks, not hours) looking at each piece of art. Otherwise, almost perfect.

Dont know why some reviews are so high for app. It is around 50 mb -really high for a simple, non-interactive app. 5 min on google will give you much more info on the Louvre. Even better, watch Sister Wendy videos. The limited info provided on this app of art works is of little value, I think. Yawn. I would give it 2-1/2 stars. It could be MUCH better.

This app has a great interface and has a few languages to choose from for videos (Defaults to French when playing videos which is understandable) Try it out! Its FREE! mac1892

A beautiful app for browsing some of the great artwork in the Louvre as well as useful practical information about the museum itself. By the way, does anyone know who to switch the language to French? It defaults to English and I couldnt figure out a way of changing it...

If you click on another link on the description, you lost the original one forever. I tried to start all over and still didnt work. Otherwise pretty good app for quick access.

While I might like a more in depth review of the art work, this app is FREE and FABULOUS. I love looking at it and my 13yo son loves it too. It is a lovely way to brush the surface and get a hunger to learn more about both the museum and the artwork. I cant wait to look up more information online. I think it does exactly what the writers intended.

They should charge for this app; I cant believe its free. I paid 8 euros to rent the museums multimedia guide and it paled in comparison. Use this app as a great primer for a truly amazing experience in the worlds largest museum. Merci!

App was not optimized for iPad, more for iPhone which was disappointing.

Simply the best museum tour ever! Wish there was one like this for other famous museums, like Musee DOrsay. Fantastic, stupendous, tremendous.
